Dimitrios Filioglou

Dimitrios Filioglou graduated from medical school at the University of Patras, Greece in August 2022.  His is interested in immuno-oncology and cancer metabolism and is excited to work at Dr. Katsanis΄s lab. His main role is to investigate novel therapeutic methods to eliminate graft versus host disease while preserving the graft versus leukemia effects in patients who require hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. He is also interested in the metabolic effects of exercise on tumors. 

As an undergraduate student, he was part of his school’s endocrinology lab, which focuses on the Nrf2 metabolic signaling pathway.
