John Sullivan
John is originally from Flagstaff, Arizona but moved to Tucson in 2014 to pursue his Bachelor of Science in Physiology. He then worked for two years as a research technician, researching the adaptive immune response to cigarette smoke exposure in the lung. In 2022, he completed a Master's Degree of Molecular Medicine and Biophysics.
John is a member of the US Cerebral Palsy Men's National Soccer Team. He trains year-round with the team and competes in international tournaments around the world. In his free time he likes to go hiking and backpacking with his dog Maeby.
Research Interest:
John's area of interest lies in using exercise to enhance the efficacy of donor lymphocytes in treating hematological cancers. He is interested in using Exercise mobilized T-cells in tandem with a Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) to generate more powerful lymphocytes that are equipped to treat hematological disorders like Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).
